People pleasing or God pleasing?

One of my favorite topics by far. Let us seek to please God and God alone, let us seek after Him and His will for our lives, not what someone else thinks it should be. God is calling me out to water to follow after Him. Who am I that He should think to call me out to the water to follow after Him? Someone that He gave a second look to. I am so glad that Jesus is not following after the status quo, because pertaining to the world that we live in, you must be culturally acceptable to follow after Jesus. Let me ask you this, is heaven culturally acceptable? Does heaven have cliques? Does heaven exclude anyone? We pray oh yes Lord, let your kingdom come, yet do we know what that means and do we even really want that. I love the Lord's face. It shines upon me and His countenance warms up my cold, cold heart. The Lord's call is by far the most romantic notion that could ever exist. His call beats any romantic notion by far is what I am trying to say. He calls us to dance with Him and to enter His throneroom where He lays out a table of feasting before us, and is calling us to a deeper place in Him and not only that but it's a close place of intimacy that no outside force can even destroy. Although, the enemy may try to destroy and may even succeed for a short while, he cannot win. God's love call is by far louder and more wooing than the enemy's feeble attempts to steal our hearts from God. We say that we want to love others with the love that Christ has however, when someone comes into our world for a moment, do we extend that love? When we are used to our cliques and someone new comes along, do we welcome them with the welcome of Christ. If we are just preoccupied with ourselves and our agendas, we have ceased following Christ, even but for a moment. If I follow after Him, He will be there for me. He is the only one that is there for me, when no one else is there, He is there. He will never leave me nor forsake me and that is some real love man. How many times have people just disappeared or just not understood, or not really been there? How many times have people just bailed out because they cant handle it or they don't have the mental capacities to give me what it is I so desperately need? Which is a whisper from God, an embrace from God. Once again, He has proven Himself to be the only One that cannot leave. It is His promise. His spoken word that He has given to me. His spoken word over me. Today, I was hit by a powerful burden from Jesus to pray for my generation. To shut the doors that the enemy had opened through sex, drugs, and rock n roll in the hippie movement of long ago. The enemy who tries to fulfill a generation with lies and false promises and hopes. The enemy who has stolen what does not belong to Him. I was moved to tears as I prayed and earnestly meant it with all of my heart and have the faith that God is faithful to answer my prayers in this city today. God is a God who hears and will answer our heart's cry to reach this generation. He showed me how it is so vital to have churches open on Friday and Saturday nights for our youth. To not let the enemy have our youth anymore, especially in the church, for that's where it has to start. He put it on my heart for men and women to carry a burden in their hearts to reach the youth of our generation. Pray for our youth today.
