True mirror of the heart

I once heard Misty Edwards say that the bible was the transcript of God's heart. The bible is what is inside of our Lord's heart. What truth He gave us in His word is what was written in His heart. How beautiful is that! That our very lord will let us see into His heart and lay it all down in the form of a bible. Not the only way of course but available to everyone. How many times people peer into His heart only to say this is fiction or merely history? Does not our heart contain history? Our hearts contain memories. Memories inside of God's heart, His living word are in the bible. The word of God. How devastating it is in India or Egypt to not be able to openly read a bible in some families? When a young woman accepts Christ, she has fear that her bible will be taken away from her.
